The platform serves as a valuable social network aimed at facilitating ride-sharing among travelers heading in the same direction. After creating a profile, users can initiate searches for potential ride matches. It is essential for matched users to reach a mutual agreement before finalizing their connection.

As part of the registration process, each user must complete a health attestation, affirming they do not pose any risk to their potential Ride Pal. Following this verification, users can engage in conversations, with the first individual to initiate the match having the opportunity to book the ride.

User profiles maintain a record of accumulated carbon offsets from previous shared rides, with aspirations to offer users the ability to redeem these credits for various rewards in the future.

It is worth noting that current limitations require the user who books a ride to input both their own destination and their match's destination into their chosen ride-hailing app to facilitate the booking process fully. Additionally, fare splitting is enabled within these apps.

The service currently supports ride-sharing with platforms such as Uber and Lyft, promoting both convenience and an eco-friendly approach to transportation.
